Summer Wind is one of Washington County's best kept secrets. The subdivision was established in 2004 and is nestled between Hartford's Independence Park and the beautiful conservation areas of the Wilson Wetlands. This quiet and secluded development is comprised of 105 home sites and offers homeowners the chance to raise their families and experience the beauty of the wetlands right in their own backyard.
Summer Wind Subdivision features an active Homeowner's Association with affordable annual dues. The Homeowner's Association has been established to maintain the beauty and integrity of our community.

Our final Tree/Shrub planting event occurred this past Fall '25. It included both neighborhood and local Cub Scout volunteers from Pack 3794. It was a great turn out, thank you everyone that participated!

In lieu of new or increased annual expenses (insurance, city, utility, insurance and website fees), as well as one remaining phase of our Common project, our HOA Dues fees will for this year will increase by $25.

Highlights From the 2026 Annual meeting

A review of the Commons Water Mngt. Project was discussed. This included progress, the past years planting events, budget and remaining steps. One phase remains, which entail seeding remaining areas this Fall/Winter.
The board continues to develop electronic communications to help reach more residents with important updates and information about our neighborhood. If you've not shared your email address with us, please do so you can be included! Keep an eye on your junk mail.
2026 Dues will be Invoiced for July 1st and due by July 30TH 2026. They get mailed out near the end of June. The Dues amount will increase by $25 for one year. This was voted on at the meeting to help cover the reserve amount and anticipated expenses for this year. We will reevaluate reducing this amount in our next annual meeting in 2027.

We are looking for volunteers to join our Committees! Summer Wind has a number of ways residents can get involved and support our neighborhood. Please connect with our HOA Secretary, Amber B.
Opportunities can include helping to welcome new residents, planning activities and events throughout the year, assisting with the maintenance of our community spaces and gardens, and supporting HOA admin needs, etc.
