Summer Wind is one of Washington County's best kept secrets. The subdivision was established in 2004 and is nestled between Hartford's Independence Park and the beautiful conservation areas of the Wilson Wetlands. This quiet and secluded development is comprised of 105 home sites and offers homeowners the chance to raise their families and experience the beauty of the wetlands right in their own backyard.
Summer Wind Subdivision features an active Homeowner's Association with affordable annual dues. The Homeowner's Association has been established to maintain the beauty and integrity of our community.

Highlights From the last meeting >>>
Discussion took place as to the drainage on the Seneca Huron Way end in the Commons area and interventions through the Native Roots, LLC native plant landscaping design. Please see Power Point below or in document section.
The board and interested parties met during 2022 with Native Roots rep. Danielle Bell to discuss drainage needs and solutions. Inner circle direct member surveys were utilized for input.
2023 Dues will be Invoiced for July 1st and due by July 31st 2023. They get mailed out near the end of June. DUES will stay the same at $100 for 2023. There is enough money in reserves to start with the first phase of the common area landscape project and necessary culvert repairs.

1) We are looking for Committee leaders, especially to welcome new residents and organize the Summer Party!!

2) We're looking for people to help rotate out board positions. The current people have been there for a number of years.
3) Street sweeping-- call the city for the gravel residue so they can run a sweep.
4) Rummage sale possibilities for the Hartford Wide and or Summer Wind combined.
Summer Wind has a number of neighborhood activities and events that pop up throughout the year that are part of our neighborhood. There are a number of committees available. The annual HOA members meeting (March/April) gives members the opportunity to get together to recap and discuss the business and social topics of Summer Wind.
